Join an experienced local guide on a fascinating and educational tour of the Ardyaloon Hatchery which contains a diverse range of fish, coral and crustacean species. Gain insights into Bardi-Jawi culture and hear stories of how life revolves around the second largest tides in the world.
The Hatchery is located on the Western edge of the treacherous Sunday Straights. From here you will witness the power of these giant tides creating small whirlpools and eddy’s flowing past Sunday Island and the islands of the spectacular Buccaneer Archipelago.

April to September Weekdays: 9:00am – 2:30pm
Closed Weekends
Guided Tours (2 per day with Minimum of 5 people Required to run) 9:00am & 2:00pm
October to November: 10:00am – 2:30pm
Guided Tours (2 per day) 10:00am & 2:00pm
After sustaining significant damage, the Ardyaloon Hatchery will stay CLOSED until further notice.
